Photographic Illustration

This second assignment will deal with creating photographic illustration to accompany a magazine article. The magazine article deals with the recent tainted peanut scandal. The magazine is a news magazine, very similar to TIME or NEWSWEEK. You will create one image to illustrate the story. This image can be made in the studio or at another location.

Due date: Thursday March 26th - Images should be posted on your blog and a high-resolution file submitted to me by noon on that day.

Assignment #1

I thought I'd give you an assignment to kick start the creative process. For this assignment, you will reproduce, as closely as possible, the image of the wine glass with liquid being poured into it. When you have reproduced this image, you will then make another image of your own design. The second image must consist of some kind of liquid being poured into a container. Beyond those basic requirements, the rest is up to you.

This will be due (by noon) on Monday March 2nd. You will post low-resolution copies on your blog for group comments. You will also drop off high-resolution copies to me in person on that day.

Good Luck !!! And remember, if you choose to use actual wine for the shoot don't drink it until after you have the image. :-)
